Jeordie’s chapter:
Mental Health in the Music Business
MSc. Academic researcher.
Jeordie is an academic researcher of substance use amongst working musicians and contributing author/research assistant for publications on mental health in the music industry.
Currently Jeordie is undertaking a PhD on this topic and previously graduated with a MSc Research Methods in Psychology (Essex), BSc Psychology and Sociology, and CertHE Social Work (both Suffolk).
Alongside this, Jeordie is the coordinator of Tonic Rider: a programme from the registered charity Tonic Music for Mental Health promoting good mental health in the music industry. In these roles, Jeordie has been interviewed for books, podcasts and radio shows; along with attending conferences as both a presenter and panellist.
